Asobi signs up The Little Humbugs

Eco Friendly toy company Asobi has signed The Little humbugs to its ranks.alt

The Little Humbugs is a unique Eco friendly concept which evolved in the mind of Marghanita Hughes, after moving her family half way round the world, from Scotland to British Columbia, in 2005.To date she has had 2 reading books and 1 picture book published. In 2007 the first Little Humbug doll, Jasmine ‘the butterfly girl’, was produced. Marghanita’s husband, David, has been marketing The Little Humbugs through Wildwood media ever since, developing a strong following for the dolls in North America. The whole concept is supported by a wonderful interactive website www.littlehumbugs.com, which is designed to get children involved in caring for their future.

The Little Humbugs an award winning book and doll series are part human, part bug, they are eco-superheroes who buzz about the countryside protecting the Natural World.

The 12” dolls are soft bodied, are produced in high quality fabrics in vibrant colours, and each one comes in their very own chrysalis pod just like a real butterfly. The pod makes an ideal home for The Little Humbug doll, whether in a child’s bedroom or out and about with them ‘on the go’.

Commenting on the agreement David Hughes said, “We are delighted to be working with Asobi to launch The Little Humbugs in the UK & Ireland. They are totally focused on products which engage children with the environment and so are we.”

Asobi is launching the first 3 dolls, Jasmine, Chloe ‘the Gardener’ and Lucy ‘the bird keeper’ at the Home & Gift fair in Harrogate in July (Stand DP1 45) and at the Autumn Fair at the NEC in September. (Stand 5A56)
