Another Innovative Australian Brand for Asobi
Smelly Books & Co main brand is ‘I See’ Kid Guides. I See’ is the ultimate travel journal for kids (6-10 years old), a fantastic, cool-looking travel diary/activity book, designed for small hands to enjoy, while giving adults time out. It’s full of relevant observation games, travel projects, stickers, glue, safety scissors, a multi-colour pen and all sorts of fun stuff to entertain a child on a plane, bus or train on their way to anywhere and everywhere...Smelly Books & Co was established by entrepreneur Annika Susskind in 2008. Annika reports, “Since we launched the “I See” guides concept in 2008, it has attracted worldwide interest. I am pleased that we have concluded this agreement with Asobi. We are now looking to extend this distribution into other major European markets through Asobi.”
“I See” has sold very well to retailers in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. We have received extensive press coverage and are developing major cities specific travel diaries due out in 2011.
Asobi MD Thierry Bourret declares: “this is an unusual product for Asobi. I liked the concept immediately as I sympathise with people travelling with children. The guide is full of great little projects to occupy little people during travel. We already have major interest in this new product. The first guides will be available from January 2011 and are now available for pre-order.”
The full Asobi range will be exhibited next at The Autumn Fair & Top Drawer autumn.
