Leading Eco Friendly Toy Company chooses Asobi 31-07-09

ImagiPLAY, one of the leading companies supplying Eco Friendly toys in North America has reached an agreement with Asobi for the company to be their exclusive distributor in the UK & Ireland. This follows a very successful first showing of the range in the UK at last week’s Home & Gift show in Harrogate.

Founder and ‘Chief Toymaker’ of ImagiPLAY, Barbera Aimes, commenting on the announcement said, “we are delighted to be teaming up with Asobi to make our products available in the UK & Ireland for the first time. It is great to be working with a company with the same vision as ImagiPLAY.”

ImagiPLAY is based in Boulder, Colorado and was set up by Barbera and her colleagues in the late 90’s. The company is committed to developing high quality educational toys using only earth friendly materials and ethical labour to produce toys which are naturally safe, not only for children, but also for their planet.  ImagiPLAY makes wooden toys and this year has teamed up with ‘green magician, Steve Trash, to create the world’s first eco-friendly magic set.

Asobi will next exhibit ImagiPLAY (Green Magic & all), plus the 10 other brands the company has taken on since the beginning of the year at The Autumn Fair at the NEC, September 6^th to 9^th.
